Severn Trent – North America Renews Contract for Pasadena, Texas Wastewater Operations and Maintenance Contract

Horsham,Pa. – September 12, 2016 The City of Pasadena, Texas and Severn Trent – North America have agreed to a ten-year renewal of their operations and maintenance contract for its wastewater treatment facilities. The contract, which has a total value of approximately $39 million, includes responsibility for two wastewater treatment plants with a combined capacity of 24 million gallons per day (mgd).  Severn Trent, which has operated the facilities since 1994, will continue to provide wastewater services to approximately 150,000 residents, treating approximately 5.73 billion gallons of wastewater per year.

“We are pleased that the City of Pasadena has once again entrusted us with providing their wastewater services,” said Stephane Bouvier, CEO of Severn Trent – North America. “I am confident that our operational and management expertise will continue to benefit Pasadena, as it does over 200 other cities and municipalities across the United States.”
