IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REGARDING PUBLIC WATER SYSTEMS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE HARVEY
Horsham, Pa. – 29 August 2017 The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is tracking the status of public water systems in areas affected by recent weather events. As part of this effort, the TCEQ will contact public water systems in impacted counties to determine their operational status.
In order to prioritize resources and protect public health, the TCEQ is also asking water systems that are experiencing complete or partial outages to report their status using the Public Water System (PWS) Outages form on the TCEQ’s Hurricane Response website. You can use the same form to update your status when you have restored service.
If you are unable to access the form online, or need help completing it, please contact the Small Business and Local Government Assistance section of the TCEQ at 1-800-447-2827.
