Leonard F. Graziano
Leonard F. Graziano was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Severn Trent Services, Inc. in April 2002. He also serves on the Severn Trent Services Board of Directors and is a member of the Severn Trent Plc Executive Committee.
Mr. Graziano is responsible for the global non regulated business of Severn Trent Services, which include Water Purification, Operating Services and Analytical Services, a group of companies specializing in water and wastewater equipment for disinfection and filtration; operations and management of water and wastewater plants for municipal and industrial clients as well as Laboratory Services in the UK which offers leading solutions in water, waste and land analysis.
Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, Graziano served as President of Chemineer, Inc., a unit of Robbins & Myers, Inc., a global leader in industrial mixing and agitation equipment and technology, for 5 years. Graziano also served as President of Johnston Pump Company, a full line vertical pump, parts and repair company for 4 years.
Mr. Graziano holds an MBA from Temple University and has earned a bachelors degree in industrial engineering from Rutgers University.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Water Companies.
David L. Chester
David L. Chester was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Severn Trent Services, Inc., in January 2000. He also serves on the Severn Trent Services Board of Directors.
Chester has 22 years of experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, he served as Division Controller & AVP, Corporate Controller at Betz Dearborn, Inc.
Chester graduated summa cum laude with a BBA in Accounting from Valdosta State University in Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Wayne F. Earp
Managing Director, Severn Trent Services Operating Services UK
With Coast to Coast (C2C) providing water and wastewater services, most notably for the Ministry of Defence (MOD), and STSelect being a Water Supply Licensee, Operating Services UK meets the needs of commercial and industrial customers throughout the UK. Wayne Earp has over 20 years experience in technical and managerial roles covering both clean and dirty water operations and design. He also has a proven track record of delivering successful major change projects working at senior level within the Severn Trent Group.
Wayne is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Environmentalist, and a Member of both the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Institution of Water Officers (IWO). He holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Birmingham University and a Masters in Business Administration, with Distinction, from Warwick University. He was President of Midlands Area IWO in 2004 and remains an active member of the Area Committee.
Rachel Henton
Managing Director of UK Lab Operations
Rachel joined Severn Trent Laboratories (STL) sixteen years ago as an Assistant Accountant. By 1999 she had been promoted to the role of Group European Finance Director for Severn Trent Services and by 2002 had been appointed Finance Director and Business Improvement Director, STL.
Rachel has sixteen years experience in Accounting/ Finance with STL but has also been responsible for STL's growth into Ireland, the management of the business' IT Infrastructure and many of STL's acquisitions. She was appointed to the position of Managing Director, STL in early 2006.
Qualifications: Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Member of the Environmental Industries Commission and Advantage West Midlands Environmental Technologies Cluster. Rachel also plays an active role in Business in the Community.
Robert Hutcheson
Robert Hutcheson was named as Managing Director, Severn Trent Italia Group in May 2007, responsible for the operating services businesses in Italy. Robert has more than 19 years experience with the Severn Trent Group which he joined after initially working for a civil engineering consultancy.
Robert began his career in Severn Trent in various operational roles in the UK water supply company, mostly at water treatment facilities. He subsequently moved to a post in Severn Trent Services International where he used his experience gained in the water company as a consultant on various international water projects for clients such as the World Bank, primarily in Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe. It was also in this role that he was involved in Severn Trent’s development of its Italian portfolio through acquisition. He later went on to live in Italy for five years as Managing Director of one of the acquired companies during which time he became fluent in Italian.
Robert has a HNC in Civil Engineering from the University of Central England.
Dana Kaas
In 2000, Dana Kaas joined Severn Trent Services as Vice President, Operating Services. Sought after for his strong, hands-on management approach, Kaas primarily focuses on managing various activities at our 400 contract operations projects.
With over 25 years of management experience, Kaas has spent the last 16 years in the environmental services industry. Before joining the Severn Trent management team, Kaas served as the Vice President and General Manager of Environmental Logistics at GATX Chemical Logistics Group, designing a marketing program that served the logistical needs of the hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment facilities nationwide. He was also President at Surface Chemistry Technologies. There, he was responsible for marketing a new fluids separation technology as well as logistical services. His experience also includes sales and business development.
At Severn Trent Services, Kaas is responsible for 1,000 staff at more than 600 facilities. With contract operations valued at $100 million, he ensures that operations at the sites function smoothly and effectively.
Kaas holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, an MBA from Temple University and has done some post graduate work in financial management and logistics.
Alex Lloyd
Alex Lloyd has over 10 years of experience with Severn Trent Services in roles of Operations Director and Managing Director for Severn Trent Services Ltd and Severn Trent Water Purification SpA.
Lloyd has a history in the paper and oil refining industry with Nokia and Nalco in technical and engineering roles, and water and wastewater treatment contracting experience with Degremont in the UK.
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Surrey in the UK and a Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management from Bristol University in the UK . He is also a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council in the UK .
Lloyd recently served as Chairman of British Water, an association representing suppliers and contractors in the UK water market.
Gary Mechler
Gary Mechler is Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment and is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the company’s health, safety and environmental programs and activities on a global basis. Mechler previously served as Regional Vice President for Operating Services in Severn Trent Services’ Gulf region. Before joining the company, he was the Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental Auditor for Lyondell Petrochemical Company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene and safety and a master’s degree in environmental management.
Thomas M. Mills
Thomas M. Mills has been with Severn Trent Services since June 1999 serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Severn Trent Technology through December 1999 and as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Severn Trent Services since that time.
Prior to joining Severn Trent, Mills spent 18 years in chemical and integrated oil industries with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) and ARCO Chemical Companies in Philadelphia, PA. During this time, he served in a variety of functions and roles that included Marketing Director, National Accounts Manager and Director of Investor Relations. Prior to ARCO, Mills was an internal auditor for the Endicott Johnson Corporation in Endicott, New York.
Mills' responsibilities include global marketing programs, communications and brand development opportunities, equipment sales within North America, business development and strategy.
Mills holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Water & Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) and the Sean Popper Foundation.
Marwan F. Nesicolaci
Marwan F. Nesicolaci joined Severn Trent Services in 2000 and was named Vice President of International Sales & Business Development in 2005. His responsibilities include overseeing the international sales and business development activities for the water and wastewater treatment products as well as managing the international contract operations and management services group. Nesicolaci brings to his role 25 years of experience in the water purification equipment industry. In 1988 he founded and served as president of Universal Aqua Technologies, now recognized as Severn Trent Services' desalination, membrane, and bottling product lines. He speaks five languages: French, Italian, Arabic, Spanish and English.
Nesicolaci holds an AA from Franklin College in Switzerland, a BS in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and a graduate degree in International Finance from UCLA.
Terry Pearce
Terry A. Pearce has been with Severn Trent Services since January 2000 serving as the Vice President Human Resources.
Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, Pearce was Director Human Resource Development for Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA. She also was Assistant Vice President Human Resources at The Vanguard Group, Inc in Valley Forge, PA. For both organizations, she served in a variety of human resource functions over a period of 16 years.
Pearce is responsible for the employment, development, compensatory and health and welfare programs of more than 3,000 employees in the US and Europe.
Pearce graduated with a B.A. Communications, minor in Business from Shippensburg University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
