In every project we undertake, we implement maintenance protocols and procedures that reflect manufacturers' warranties for existing and new equipment. Although it is often difficult to tie quality maintenance to cost-savings performance, it is our philosophy that maintenance is part of every employee's day-to-day responsibilities and that corrective, non-routine maintenance should be planned well in advance. This approach is consistent with our management philosophy at all of the facilities we operate. We believe that it provides employees with enhanced opportunities to understand and manage the entire treatment process. In addition, by placing routine maintenance under operator control, our approach allows for greater accountability and empowerment in plant operations and minimizes costly, unscheduled maintenance events.
Severn Trent also provides public works management as part of a wastewater or water operations and maintenance contract or as a stand alone service.
