Severn Trent Services’ EST steam jet vacuum ejectors are ejector venturi devices that use steam as a motive source to pull gases under vacuum. They can be supplied as single stage, multi-stage, condensing, non-condensing, or hybrid systems with liquid ring pumps. Single stage units can supply vacuums as low as 50 torr absolute. Pressure as low as 3 microns absolute can be achieved with multi-stage systems. When condensers are required, Severn Trent Services offers either direct contact or shell & tube designs depending on the application requirements.
Since steam jet vacuum ejectors have no moving parts, they eliminate the maintenance and mechanical failure concerns associated with other vacuum sources. This greatly reduces costly down time.
