Since the turn of the century, chlorine has been used in municipal water treatment systems to help provide communities with a safe and sanitary drinking supply. But maintaining uniform levels of chlorine has long been a challenge for water system operators. Stagnation and stratification in water storage systems, insufficient feeding and blending, and ineffective analysis techniques often lead to chlorine levels that are either too high or too low.
Severn Trent Services developed the RMS™ Water Storage Management System as an economical solution to manage, maintain and control residual levels across varying municipal, commercial and industrial applications; optimizing water quality, reducing cost and energy consumption while maintaining full system capacity. The patent-pending RMS technology eliminates reservoir water quality problems associated with thermal stratification, stagnation and blending of different water qualities within water storage systems, reservoirs, or ground storage tanks.
The RMS Rover, is a portable water quality management system that can easily be dropped into position within a water storage tank or reservoir location. The RMS Rover effortlessly fits into a 24” access way and can be disassembled into three pieces each weighing under 25 lbs.
