Activated Sludge Processes employ the process of aeration for the complete treatment of sewage and industrial wastewaters. The process ensures that BOD, Ammonia and Suspended Solids are all removed in a single tank. In addition the process is capable of biological nutrient removal including P removal without chemical dosing. Effluent qualities of better than 5:10:5:1 (BOD:TSS:NH3:P) mg/l can be easily achieved with this process. The process can be supplied in concrete cells or steel tanks and for smaller applications, packaged plant is available.
