100 years as an effective method for inactivating waterborne pathogens and viruses.
Ultraviolet light disinfects when it is applied to the wa ter at a specified intensity
and length of time, rendering waterborne microorganisms "microbiologically dead"
by penetrating the cell wall and affecting the microorganisms' DNA such that it
is unable to reproduce.
As an alternative or supplement to traditional chemical disinfectants, such as chlorine,
an ultraviolet disinfection system offers a number of operating advantages. An ultraviolet
disinfection system is safe and easy to operate. Ultraviolet disinfection system
design has a small footprint so it can readily be adapted to fit into an existing
treatment facility. In addition, the use of ultraviolet does not inject any taste

UltraDynamics®
Our UltraDynamics® ultraviolet disinfection systems are available in closed
vessel horizontal configurations for drinking water applications. Drinking water
systems are designed to treat up to 2 million gallons per day per system (315 m³/hr).
For wastewater applications, the UltraDynamics UV disinfection systems are offered
in a variety of open-channel horizontal and vertical configuration for indoor or
outdoor installations. Wastewater systems are designed to treat up to 4 million
gallons per day per system (631 m³/hr).
MicroDynamics™
The groundbreaking
MicroDynamics™ microwave ultraviolet technology uses microwaves to energize
low-pressure, high-output bulbs for municipal or industrial water and wastewater
disinfection. With electrodeless bulbs, there are no electrical connections to fail,
corrode or leak. The bulbs light instantly, providing immediate, reliable disinfection,
and lamps can be switched on and off to match flow.

Light Industrial
UltraDynamics® 8102-LI, light industrial ultraviolet disinfection series is available
with four models with a treatment capacity ranging from 3 gallons per minute to
30 gallons per minute. This system is uniquely designed with all components mounted
in a single, compact enclosure for easy installation and maintenance.

General Industrial
UltraDynamics® 8102-GI, general industrial series is designed and manufactured for
maximum performance and reliability under demanding industrial applications. The
system can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and comes standard with
lamp-out indicators, removable flanged heads, UV sensor ports and UV resistant o-rings
and head gasket. System flow rate capacity ranges from 24 gallons per minute to
100 gallons per minute.
