The AQUAWARD® system is the best method for disinfecting potable water. Its low cost and unattended operation make the system ideal for a wide range of potable water disinfection applications, including farms, ranches and small communities. Other applications include odor control, secondary sewage treatment, and cyanide destruction A single tablet feeder can treat up to 10,000 gallons of water per day. Multiple units can handle higher flow rates.
A simple but effective design, the patented AQUAWARD® Tablet Feeder (Model 1000/1001) has no moving parts to wear out and no metal parts to corrode. AQUAWARD® Tablets drop into two vertical tubes. At the bottom of the tubes water contacts and dissolves the tablets. The remaining tablets slide down the tubes after the bottom tablets dissolve.
A slotted weir plate located at the outlet of the unit provides constant chlorine dosage control at different flow rates. Increased flow causes water to rise and contact more tablets. Adjusting the bypass valve changes the flow through the tablet feeder and consequently sets the chlorine dosage to the required level.
