It enables itemized billing, complex tariff application, real-time data transmission and important leakage data, such as leak start date, duration, location and leak rate.

The SmartMeter SM700 20 and 30gpm intelligent water meter is NSF61 Certified and compliant with the AWWA C713 standard for cold water meters. SmartMeters have also recently received Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) certification for Europe, to add to its other local approvals in the UK and Australia.
