The Severn Trent Services, ASME certified, Capital Controls® Model 22255 gas filter is designed to remove gas line impurities that will occur in pressurized chlorine, sulfur dioxide and ammonia pipeline systems.
The filter is constructed with an open volume below the filter elements to trap any liquefied impurities that may have passed through the piping system. The Severn Trent Services gas filter is designed to meet the requirements of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Unfired Pressure vessel code section VIII, Div 1, for lethal substances and The Chlorine Institute (Pamphlet 6, Edition 15) recommendations for Class IV gas service covering materials of construction and operating pressures.
