Severn Trent Services Introduces A Flex Capital Leasing and Service Agreement Program for SORB 33 Arsenic Removal Treatment Systems
Severn Trent Services has introduced the A-Flex™ capital leasing and service agreement program, a flexible program specifically tailored to meet the arsenic removal needs of U.S. water treatment system facilities. The A-Flex program offers purchase or lease terms for Severn Trent's SORB 33® systems and accompanying Bayoxide® media fill, change-out, replacement and disposal services to meet client-specific needs.

The A-Flex program offers utilities a solution to manage cash flow and still comply with the more stringent drinking water arsenic regulation of 10 parts per billion (ppb). Competitive finance rates are available for purchase or lease options. With one monthly payment, Severn Trent Services guarantees the performance of the SORB 33® system and Bayoxide® media for the life of the agreement.

Under the A-Flex program, an arsenic treatment system operation agreement also is available. Severn Trent Services’ service representatives will visit each wellhead site, check the operation of the equipment, collect samples required for compliance testing and perform routine or emergency maintenance.

The SORB 33 process and technology developed by Severn Trent Services to reduce arsenic contamination has been commercially proven to effectively and economically meet the stringent standard of 10 ppb across a range of water treatment applications. Bayoxide is a dry, robust, ferric oxide media designed with a high capacity for arsenic, providing long operating cycles and low operating costs. Compared to competitive technologies, Bayoxide offers the lowest capital cost while providing ease of operation and maintenance. The media has been permitted for use by health and environmental agencies in 24 states, more than any other arsenic removal technology.

The introduction of the A-Flex program further supports Severn Trent Services’ commitment to make the proven SORB 33 and Bayoxide technology more accessible to utilities in need of arsenic removal treatment.
