Severn Trent Services Appoints Gary Richards as European Sales Director for Water Purification Group
Severn Trent Services have appointed Gary Richards to the role of European sales director for their Water Purification group. In this position, Richards will be responsible for developing European sales, managing existing distributors and identifying new distributors of key products. In addition, Richards will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with European consulting engineers and contractors. He will be based in Minworth, northeast of Birmingham.

Gary brings a wealth of industry experience to our company, and we’re confident he will help us achieve our business goals in Europe.”
With a career spanning more than 27 years, Richards has significant experience in research and development operations, chemical plant operations and worldwide commissioning of large-scale chemical, water and engineering plants. Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, Richards was employed by Statiflo International as sales director, where he gained extensive experience in the water treatment, oil, gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Richards has been an associate member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers since 1981. He holds qualifications in chemical engineering, microbiology and biochemistry and is a director of the International Ozone Association EA3 Group. Richards is fluent in German and speaks conversational French.
