C2C Successfully Awarded Investors In People
After successfully completing the assessment process, C2C were awarded Investors In People Status on 11th September 2008.
The Investors In People Standard is designed to help organizations improve their performance and achieve objectives through the management of people. By providing the workforce with the skills, knowledge and motivation they need to be successful, a company can significantly improve productivity, customer satisfaction and employee motivation.
To be recognised as an Investor In People, Coast to Coast Water Limited (C2C) had to undergo an assessment programme including employee interviews and questionnaires based on communications, learning and development, involvement and empowerment and continuous improvement. On completion of the assessment C2C were successfully awarded the Investors In People Standard, demonstrating the importance they place on their employees.
C2C believe that achieving Investors In People Status demonstrates they recognise the importance of investing in their workforce and value the contribution their workforce make to delivering a quality service. In turn they hope this will lead to improved performance and customer satisfaction as their staff deliver a service that meets their customers’ needs.
In addition to Investors In People, C2C have also achieved ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 18001 in the last two years. These achievements demonstrate C2C’s commitment to quality, health and safety, continual performance improvement and first class customer service.
