The revolutionary new ClorTec® SCT is a fully integrated on-site hypochlorite generation package developed by Severn Trent Services for the European market. All components required to produce a chlorine equivalent of up to 2kg/day or up to 4.4lb/day of hypochlorite solution at 0.8% strength are provided as part of the system. The ClorTec SCT offers superior safety compared to other systems with its innovative design – hydrogen dilution taking place at the point of production.
Air is blown into the generator to dilute the hydrogen produced as a by-product to more than 10 times less than the minimum safe limit.
The simple and compact skid design uses batch mode production to ensure no by-products are experienced. The system’s small size means that it can be easily transported and installed in fixed and temporary locations. The low operating and capital cost solution is easy to operate and can be used in a variety of applications.
