The new LiquidChem Chiller liquid chemical chill system offers municipal and industrial users a safe and stable means for chilling and storing any liquid chemical, including ammonia and sodium hypochlorite.

The skid-mounted system is composed of storage tanks, level sensors, chiller/storage system, temperature probe, chiller probe, metering pumps, vents and a PLC based control panel. Unlike other systems, the easy-to-install chiller does not require pressurized storage of liquid chemicals. The storage tank is insulated to maintain the chemicals at low temperatures, stabilizing the solution so they cannot volatize. Low temperatures prevent problems commonly associated with the storage of aqueous ammonia and sodium hypochlorite; degradation, chemical property breakdown and off gassing.

The LiquidChem Chiller accurately, reliably and uniformly feeds chemicals by using a consistent suction head and eliminating injection pump vapor lock cavitation. The ventilation system vents and releases gas directly into the atmosphere, preventing the possibility of check valve or vacuum relief valve failure.
