Sequencing Batch Reactors (SBR) employ the process of aeration for the complete treatment of sewage and industrial wastewaters. The process ensures that BOD, Ammonia and Suspended Solids are all removed in a single tank. In addition the process is capable of biological nutrient removal including P removal without chemical dosing. Effluent qualities of better than 5:10:5:1 (BOD:TSS:NH3:P) mg/l can be easily achieved with this process. The process can be supplied in concrete cells or steel tanks and for smaller applications, packaged plant is available.
