The automatic Gas Control Valve, Series 1410 combines flow proportioning control with a valve in a compact, easy-to-install, easy-to-operate unit for automating vacuum-operated, manual gas feed systems. Automatic flow proportioning control eliminates the need for continuous operator monitoring and manual adjustment of the gas feed rate with changes in flow, especially where chemical discharge levels are regulated. And since manual system feed rates are usually based on peak facility flows, automatic feed will reduce gas consumption.
The Series 1410 control valve can be provided in maximum ranges from 10 PPD to 500 PPD of chlorine. It is also available pre-mounted to a wall panel along with a meter assembly, vacuum gauge and D/P regulator as required for the 10 and 25 PPD ranges. The valves can also be provided for ammonia and sulfur dioxide as well.
